11th February 2011 - Devon Day Ranger

Well i finally made it out for the first time in February and was a day of two halves!

I was meeting Peter at Newton Abbot but his plans changed and he went off to London so he left me on my own. The plan was to eventually see 67030 with a Private Charter from Bodmin to Trowbridge but it went wrong. So while i was on my way to Dawlish the gen was it was 3 early at Totnes. That was fine as i was nearly at Newton Abbot and would be ahead of it.

Well there was some duff gen about as I was in position and waiting and then gen came through that it was at Exeter 19 early. I was not happy. Wasted time for nothing.

The positives for the day was i managed 4 winners which was remarkable! Managed 267 miles.

Next on agenda is my holiday to the North West which will be using a Freedom of the North West.
